Fulham are now considering a move for French international Youssouf Fofana in the final hours of the transfer window.
A report from the Daily Mail has shared more details about the potential deal.

There are still gaps in the squad, with a centre-forward who can replace Aleksandar Mitrovic still not at the club.
They were linked with Niclas Fullkrug but he’s now set to join Borussia Dortmund.
Another full-back wouldn’t go amiss and potentially even another winger.
However, the focus of the next 36 hours is likely to be in midfield.
Joao Palhinha has emerged as a late target for German champions Bayern Munich.
As they showed with their pursuit of Harry Kane, when they set their mind to signing someone, they tend to get their man.
Fulham set Palhinha’s asking price at £90m earlier in the summer, a figure well above Bayern’s opening offer of £50m yesterday.
The club do need to consider what they’re going to do if the worst-case scenario comes true and Palhinha goes.
And so, Fulham are now considering an offer for French World Cup star and Monaco midfielder Youssouf Fofana.
The 24-year-old is one of the best midfielders in France right now.
However, he would be a much more exciting prospect to Fulham fans if he was signed alongside Palhinha, as opposed to potentially being his replacement.
Fulham considering move for Fofana
The report states that Fulham are ‘exploring a deal’ for the French international before tomorrow’s deadline.
Monaco already valued Fofana at more than £30m after rejecting a bid from Premier League rivals Nottingham Forest earlier in the window.
Considering Fulham’s need for another midfielder, Monaco may choose to increase Fofana’s asking price even further.
The Whites have once again left it very late to do their business which will likely work against them.
Monaco will also be aware of how much money they’re about to make from selling Palhinha and that might play on their thoughts too.
All in all, this is not a good situation to be in for Marco Silva albeit Fofana would be a very good addition.
