Fulham keen on 26-year-old World Cup player this summer, he wants first-team football

Why Chelsea FINALLY Turned A Corner.

Fulham are keen to sign AC Milan defender Fode Ballo-Toure this summer as the Senegalese international searches for first-team football.

A report from French outlet Foot Mercato has provided more details on the 26-year-old’s future.

It wouldn’t be a Fulham transfer window if they were slow to get off the mark with their signings.

Nearly two weeks has passed since the window opened and Fulham are yet to make their first signing.

In fact, it doesn’t appear as if anyone is even close to arriving at Craven Cottage before pre-season.

However, more and more players are being linked with a move to the club.

The latest potential incoming is Fode Ballo-Toure.

Ballo-Toure is reportedly keen to leave AC Milan this summer with Fulham considering making a move for the Senegalese international.

The 26-year-old went to last year’s World Cup but managed just five starts for Milan.

He now senses there may be an opportunity for more game time on the banks of the River Thames.

Fulham keen on Ballo-Toure

The report from Foot Mercato suggests that although Ballo-Toure has a contract at Milan until 2025, he’s looking to move this summer.

He’s not first-choice at the San Siro and has always been an admirer of the Premier League.

Ballo-Toure is a left-back and the report goes on to say Fulham are already preparing to potentially lose Antonee Robinson.

The American international has been linked with a move to Newcastle.

Marco Silva’s side are asking for £35m for the 25-year-old which would fund a move for several players this summer.

It would be hard to convince Robinson to stay when Champions League football is potentially on the table.

Fulham are therefore keen on Ballo-Toure who they may be able to sign for a decent fee given his lack of minutes last season.

It would be a risk to bring in someone who has had injury issues and has not played much football to replace Robinson.

Jedi seemed to improve week-on-week last season as Fulham established themselves in the top half of the Premier League.

Losing him would be a shame and Ballo-Toure would have some big shoes to fill as his replacement.
