Fulham in talks to offer ‘quality’ 25-year-old new deal, he’s been linked with a summer move

Why Chelsea FINALLY Turned A Corner.

Fulham are in talks to extend the stay of centre-back Tosin Adarabioyo at the club with his contract nearing its end.

That’s according to a report from the Evening Standard who outline the club’s plans going into the start of the transfer window.

Fulham manager Marco Silva will be desperate for the club not to rest on their laurels after a successful return to the Premier League.

The Portuguese’s future isn’t set in stone yet either, with the club in talks over his future too.

Fulham’s top-half finish last season will hopefully make them an attractive prospect for new players this summer.

Although concrete rumours have been few and far between so far, the club’s business last summer should give fans hope.

Fulham are also in talks with several players about extending their stay at the club, including Tosin Adarabioyo.

The 25-year-old has been linked with a move away from the club this summer.

There are also suggestions that his contract might have already expired, although the club believe he has one year left on his deal.

Fulham in talks with Tosin over new deal

The report from the Evening Standard suggests the club are looking to keep both Tosin and Manor Solomon at the club beyond this summer.

The Israeli international’s future is complicated by his contract situation at Shakhtar Donetsk.

Silva wants to sign him permanently but he has been linked with other clubs such as Tottenham.

The centre-back has been a staple of the Fulham side since arriving from Manchester City.

Initially partnering Joachim Andersen, Tosin and Tim Ream lead Fulham back to the Premier League brilliantly.

He had to share his minutes with new signing Issa Diop last season, but at 25 is Fulham’s youngest senior centre-back.

It makes sense for Fulham to begin talks with Tosin over a new contract.

Even if he doesn’t see his long-term future at The Cottage, it protects his transfer value in case he does leave.

Silva is also a big fan too, describing the towering defender as a ‘quality’ player.

Let’s hope both player and manager are still at the club when the season kicks off in August.
