Fulham reportedly prepared to rival Celtic in race for contract rebel compared to Jack Grealish

Fulham have a number of creative players at Marco Silva’s disposal but may look to add another one when the summer transfer window opens.

Fulham’s hopes of a late surge towards the European places appear to be over after just one point from the last three games.

Marco Silva won’t want this season to just fizzle out but it looks like being another mid-table finish for Fulham.

That isn’t a bad thing; Fulham only returned to the Premier League in 2022 and a period of re-establishment in the top flight is a positive.

Silva will want to take Fulham forward though and he may seek more creativity in the final third.

Fulham already have the likes of Tom Cairney, Bobby Decordova-Reid, Alex Iwobi, Andreas Pereira, Harry Wilson and Adama Traore who can play out wide or in attacking midfield areas.

Yet with Willian out of contract this summer, Fulham may be looking at other creative players in case the Brazilian needs to be replaced.

Fulham interested in Championship contract rebel

Football Transfers claim that Fulham are chasing a move for Coventry City attacking midfielder Callum O’Hare.

It’s stated that Fulham have previously spoken to the Sky Blues about signing O’Hare but the deal just hasn’t worked out.

The situation could change though as O’Hare is out of contract at the end of the season and has so far refused to sign a new deal.

O’Hare looks set to leave Coventry on a free transfer and Fulham may offer him a move to the Premier League.

The Sky Blues are challenging for a Championship play-off place again having lost to Luton Town in last season’s final.

O’Hare could help Coventry return to the top flight but then move on with Fulham hardly the only club looking at him.

Celtic and Rangers are interested according to Tom Collomosse, whilst La Liga teams have also been monitoring his situation.

Fulham will therefore face a battle to land O’Hare’s signature with many clubs no doubt attracted to his free agent status.

Who is Fulham target Callum O’Hare?

O’Hare hails from Solihull and came up in the Aston Villa youth ranks.

The accusing midfielder spent time on loan at Carlisle United and Coventry City before joining the latter permanently in 2020.

O’Hare left Villa with just nine first-team appearances to his name and has now racked up more than 135 games for Coventry.

O’Hare battle back from a torn ACL in 2022 and has chipped in with six goals and three assists in 26 league games this season.

The 25-year-old has been compared to Jack Grealish in the past and would surely love to show his quality in the Premier League with Fulham possibly offering that prospect.
