Arsenal talent Mika Biereth is making himself into a real goalscoring sensation some three years since leaving Fulham.

We have seen Fulham produce some talented youngsters in recent times.

Sadly, they have ended up leaving and showing their quality elsewhere.

Harvey Elliott and Fabio Carvalho both spring to mind having emerged at Craven Cottage before joining Liverpool.

Ryan Sessegnon at least earned Fulham major cash but there will be disappointment that his career hasn’t quite turned out as hoped.

Then there is Mika Biereth, a player who came up in the Fulham ranks with some real hype behind him.

The striker made his Under-18 debut at Fulham before even turning 15 and looks to be on a path to first-team stardom at Craven Cottage.

Biereth stunned Fulham in 2021 though, completing a move to London rivals Arsenal.

“It’s a once in a lifetime opportunity and I couldn’t really turn it down,” said Biereth upon leaving Fulham for the Gunners, picking North London over the West of the capital.

Biereth is yet to make a single first-team appearance for Arsenal nearly three years since making his move.

The Dane is though shining out on loan having hit six goals and five assists in 15 games at Motherwell in the first half of the season.

Biereth was given a new loan experience in January as Arsenal sent him off to Austria with Sturm Graz.

The move has been a masterstroke for Biereth, who has now eight goals in just 11 games – including one in the Europa League.

Biereth just can’t stop scoring and he is certainly giving Arsenal something to think about right now.

There is a chance that Biereth makes an impact at Arsenal, but he could end up like Folarin Balogun; a striker sold after shining on loan.

Maybe it isn’t the worst idea for Fulham to be keeping tabs on Biereth.

Loanee Armando Broja is unlikely to be staying on a permanent basis this summer and Fulham may be looking for another striker to support Rodrigo Muniz and Raul Jimenez.

Biereth is showing the kind of goalscoring talent that made him so highly-rated in the Fulham ranks and he seems to be making rapid progress this season.

Whether he is ready for Premier League action is up for debate but Fulham will surely be looking at Biereth either with pride at his rise from the Fulham ranks, or with interest for a potential future move.
