Fulham midfielder Saka Lukic has hailed teammate Harry Wilson for his incredible performance against Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday afternoon.

The Whites came away from Craven Cottage with a sensational 3-0 win that sees them extend the gap to the relegation zone and move within a point of Chelsea.

Posting on Instagram after the match, Sasa Lukic reserved special praise for the 26-year-old winger.

Lukic hails Wilson after Brighton win

Fulham appear to be Brighton’s bogey team right now as they once again went unbeaten against the Seagulls in the Premier League.

After snatching a draw at the Amex through Joao Palhinha’s goal earlier in the season, they fully deserved their three points on Saturday.

That follows up Manor Solomon’s late winner last season that stunned Brighton but Marco Silva’s side once again followed up last year’s win against Brighton with another fantastic performance at the Cottage.

The Whites were once again without Palhinha as he saw out the second game of his ban but amazingly he once again wasn’t missed.

Saka Lukic hasn’t had the easiest start to life at Fulham, frequently being used off the bench where he couldn’t really affect games.

However, Lukic was brilliant once again against Brighton but reserved special praise for Harry Wilson after the match.

The Welshman curled in a trademark goal with his left foot to open the scoring before setting up Rodrigo Muniz’s fifth goal in five games.

With Willian sitting on the bench, he would have known he needed to put in a strong performance to convince Silva to keep him in the team.

He certainly did that and must be in contention to start against Wolves next weekend.

Wilson on song for Fulham once again

Posting on social media, Lukic said: “Another great team win,” to which Wilson simply replied: “Machine” with an applause emoji.

Lukic loved what he saw from Wilson against Brighton and compared him to five-time Champions League winner Gareth Bale.

Fulham are in no danger of relegation now having reached 35 points and opened up a considerable gap to the bottom three.

The aim with 11 games to go is to see whether they can climb into the top half of the table and potentially challenge for a top seven spot.

Silva has demonstrated his talents as a manager, and his ability to improve players and sides as a whole.

He’s got the perfect opportunity to kick on and make a memorable campaign for the Whites even better.
