Fulham defender Tosin Adarabioyo is reportedly being tracked by multiple clubs with his contract set to expire at the end of the season.

Still revelling in Fulham’s penalty shootout victory over Everton yesterday, Marco Silva is building arguably the most exciting team in the club’s recent history.

However, journalist Fabrizio Romano believes that these good performances are starting to alert other teams to our players.

Plenty of Fulham fans would have been expecting Tosin Adarabioyo to move on this summer.

He was a main transfer target for Tottenham and with his contract running down, it seemed like the right time to cash in if he wasn’t going to extend his deal.

However, Spurs instead opted to sign Micky Van de Ven, potentially because Tosin was struggling with an injury that ruled him out of pre-season and the first few months of the campaign.

Fulham have benefitted from Tosin sticking around in recent weeks and it’s no surprise that clubs are starting to sniff around.

He’s been magnificent alongside Calvin Bassey and was named Player of the Match at Goodison Park on Tuesday.

The Khans have plenty of priorities heading into the January transfer window, but securing Tosin’s long-term future is quickly jumping up that list.

Multiple clubs eyeing Fulham star Tosin

Posting on social media, Romano said: “Tosin Adarabioyo, described as “special” player by Fulham manager Marco Silva. He’s back in starting XI with four consecutive starts and excellent impact again.

“Multiple clubs are interested in Tosin as current deal expires in June 2024. He was on Spurs list last summer.”

Despite Fulham’s impressive recent run, there are still some positions that need strengthening in the upcoming transfer window.

A striker has to be a priority, while if Joao Palhinha leaves, finding a replacement for the incredible Portuguese is essential.

That means that the last thing Fulham needs is for clubs to try and poach Tosin just as he rediscovers his best form.

Marco Silva could use the funds required to sign a centre-back in other areas and Tosin’s burgeoning relationship with Bassey would take time to recreate.

Tim Ream has been a magnificent servant to the club but the team’s improvement since he dropped out of the team is noticeable.

Issa Diop’s return to fitness is a welcome boost too, but having Tosin available beyond this season has now gone from a nice bonus to essential business.
