Fulham are one of several Premier League clubs who are reportedly interested in signing Juventus winger Samuel Iling-Junior in January.
A report from TEAMTalk lists the Whites as one of four top-flight English clubs monitoring the 20-year-old’s situation right now.
There’s a glaring issue when it comes to Fulham’s team right now and it’s scoring goals.
Marco Silva’s side have been outscored in the Premier League by every team except Burnley after 12 games.
It has meant after a solid start to the campaign that the Whites currently sit in 16th place and are in real danger of being dragged into a relegation battle.

Silva will be desperate to solve this issue in January and it may explain why Fulham are interested in Samuel Iling-Junior.
The England Under-21 international has previously been described as an ‘assist machine’ which sounds just like what Fulham need.
Fulham’s strikers have been far from prolific this season with Raul Jimenez only securing his first league goal of the campaign last weekend.
Having a player like Iling-Junior on the left wing to swing in pinpoint crosses or beat a full-back and lay on a chance for a forward would be incredibly useful.
Whether a player with as little experience as Iling-Junior is what Fulham need right now is another issue.
Silva currently has the oldest squad in the Premier League and bringing in a player with Champions League experience wouldn’t be a bad idea.
Fulham interested in Iling-Junior
The report from TEAMTalk suggests that Fulham, Everton, Tottenham and Aston Villa are all watching the young forward.
He looks likely to leave this winter given he’s becoming frustrated by a lack of minutes this season.
Iling-Junior has only made four substitute appearances in Serie A during this campaign which is far from ideal for his development.
His contract runs for another 18 months but he’s showing no signs of putting pen to paper on an extension so moving him on sooner rather than later is in Juventus’s interests.
Fulham may be interested in Iling-Junior given his record at youth level, where he scored 14 goals and provided 15 assists in 58 games for Juve’s academy team.

His single goal at senior level came in Serie A against Atalanta last season, although in his only Champions League cameo he did provide an assist against Benfica.
Iling-Junior is very exciting in possession and can bully defenders on his day.
Whether a player with as few minutes this season as Iling-Junior is the right fit for a team low on confidence and lacking goals has to be questioned.
If Fulham stay up, I would aim to bring him in this summer, otherwise, our funds have to be spent on an out-and-out striker in January.
