Journalist Bruno Andrade has provided some exciting news for Fulham fans regarding midfielder Andre.

Posting on social media, the Brazilian reporter sent a four-word message on the 22-year-old’s future.

It feels like the summer transfer window only just closed but already teams are looking for ways to improve their squad when the window re-opens.

Some obvious areas in the Fulham team need improving sooner rather than later.

Marco Silva’s side simply can’t score goals right now and a centre forward is desperately needed.

The links to strikers are already beginning to surface but it won’t be easy to find a prolific attacker in January.

One player who has been widely linked with a move to the Premier League in January is Andre.

Having just won the Copa Libertadores with Fluminense, his club might not see the perfect opportunity to sell him.

Journalist Bruno Andrade has now shared an update on Andre’s future that spells good news for Fulham.

The £26m-rated midfielder might be on his way to Craven Cottage.

That’s despite the likes of Liverpool taking a keen interest in the Brazilian international.

Andrade message on Andre should excite Fulham fans

A message on X suggested that Liverpool were no longer in the running to sign the 22-year-old in the winter.

Andrade replied with the simple message: “Free way to Fulham…”

Andre is a fantastic young midfielder who controls the tempo of matches and can drive through midfields if needed.

He’d be an exceptional partner for Joao Palhinha in the middle of the pitch but Fulham already have plenty of players in this position.

The reason Alex Iwobi was brought in was to play a similar role and he’s looked decent so far.

Andrade’s tweet doesn’t necessarily mean that Fulham will make a move for Andre.

And many fans would likely prefer to see that money spent on a centre-forward.

However, it also suggests that Silva is having a bigger say on transfers by bringing in another Portuguese speaker and that the club might be more willing to open their chequebook in January.
