Exciting Fulham youngster Matt Dibley-Dias should be given a chance to feature on Wednesday against Norwich City in the Carabao Cup.
The 19-year-old hasn’t made his first-team debut yet but has been involved in several matchday squads under Marco Silva.
Dibley-Dias turned professional in 2021 before signing a new contract earlier this month.
At the time he signed his first deal, Head of Football Development Huw Jennings said: “We’re really happy with this because Matt’s a very good player in the making.
“He’s an intelligent midfielder who has had his challenges with injury, but he’s got great potential and will hopefully be back soon supporting our 18s and 23s.
“He’s got all the tools to be a really excellent footballer.”
Dibley-Dias has already been on the bench on three occasions in the Premier League, including on the opening day against Everton.

However, Silva has never called upon the youngster who can play for England, New Zealand, Portugal and Brazil.
Instead, he’s been turning out for the Under-21s who have started the season exceptionally well.
Dibley-Dias has been a vital part of that in midfield and after regularly training with the Fulham squad, deserves to make his debut against Norwich City.
Dibley-Dias deserves Fulham chance vs Norwich
Fulham Under-21s have won all four of their Premier League 2 matches this season in the new revamped format.
Only Tottenham’s youngsters also have a 100% record with the two teams currently expected to meet on the final day of the season in April.
They’ve also held League One leaders Portsmouth and Leyton Orient to draws in the EFL Trophy.
However, they’ve lost both matches on penalties which means they’ll have to beat Gillingham in November and hope results go their way to progress in that competition.
Martial Godo was the standout player at Under-21 level at the start of the season but has now gone out on loan to Wigan Athletic where he’s started really well.
Jay Stansfield is currently the outstanding young talent at the club and is already thriving at Birmingham City.

Dibley-Dias is already off the mark for Fulham Under-21s and could benefit from a first call-up against Norwich on Wednesday.
The Canaries were destroyed by Plymouth on Saturday in the Championship and have some injury issues.
Manager David Wagner has also suggested that he will make changes, which could offer Dibley-Dias the perfect chance to make his debut.
