‘Chaotic’: Tim Ream shares how he really felt during Fulham’s transfer window

Fulham have just endured a transfer window unlike any other.

The Whites had something of a nightmare window to say the least. They lost Aleksandar Mitrovic to Saudi Arabia, while they almost lost Joao Palhinha to Bayern Munich on deadline day, and that’s before we even mention the links to Saudi Arabia for Marco Silva as well.

Simply put, from the outside looking in, the window looked to be chaotic, and according to Tim Ream, speaking on The American Dream Podcast, that was also the view from inside the club.

Chaotic window

Ream shared how he really felt during Fulham’s transfer window.

“You know we spoke a few shows back about the transfer market and how unsettling it can be. I don’t think I’ve ever experienced one as unsettling or chaotic as this one has been. I don’t know how to put it into words and then for it to be settled while we were gone before the Man City game and coming back to have guys signing new contracts to keep them here longer,” Ream said.

Never again

We speak for all Fulham fans when we say we could really do without another transfer window like that ever again.

It just seemed to be bad news after bad news as the club’s star players were continuously linked with moves elsewhere.

Ultimately, it didn’t turn out too badly as Fulham managed to keep hold of the likes of Willian, Palhinha and Tosin Adarabioyo, but for a time, it looked as though the squad would be absolutely gutted.

Let’s just hope that January is a bit less manic.
