Sky journalist now provides exciting update about 22-year-old Fulham target

Why Chelsea FINALLY Turned A Corner.

Fulham have now reportedly reached a ‘broad agreement’ with Chelsea as they look to sign Callum Hudson-Odoi.

That’s according to Sky Sports journalist Dharmesh Sheth who shared the update on social media.

Fulham got their Premier League campaign off to the perfect start.

They had Bernd Leno to thank for an incredible appearance in goal as he kept a clean sheet at Goodison Park.

Everton were all over Marco Silva’s side for much of the game but couldn’t put any of their chances away.

At the other end, Bobby De Cordova-Reid did what he does best and popped up at the far post to convert an Andreas Pereira cross.

It’s an important three points for Fulham and should give them confidence going into a huge London derby against Brentford.

New signing Raul Jimenez started up front before being replaced by Aleksandar Mitrovic on the hour mark.

Fulham are still looking to add to the squad and signed Adama Traore at the weekend.

An agreement has also now been reached between Fulham and Chelsea for Callum Hudson-Odoi.

The pair are both wingers but offer Marco Silva completely different options in wide areas.

Fulham reach agreement for Hudson-Odoi

Posting on Twitter, Sheth said: “Fulham close to finalising a deal for Chelsea forward Callum Hudson-Odoi.

“Broad agreement on many aspects. Cautious optimism a deal can be concluded this week.”

Fulham haven’t acted particularly quickly in the transfer window although that will need to change soon with the deadline approaching.

Callum Hudson-Odoi has been a long-term target for Fulham this summer and needs a fresh start away from Stamford Bridge.

An agreement between Fulham and Chelsea means Hudson-Odoi should be able to make the move sooner rather than later.

His close control and ability to beat players would be a huge asset to Fulham if Silva can get the best out of the 22-year-old.

The Whites have plenty of wide options but will now have the luxury to select the wingers that suit the opposition they’re playing best.

Hudson-Odoi has incredible potential and if he can start playing regularly might even be eyeing a return to the England set-up.
