Why Chelsea FINALLY Turned A Corner.
Fulham are in need of some attacking reinforcements.
Andreas Pereira is out injured for the foreseeable future, and the Whites really don’t have much cover in that number 10 spot.
Step forward Iliman Ndiaye.
Indeed, according to The Sheffield Star, Fulham are amongst the clubs interested in Ndiaye this summer.
The Senegalese star was brilliant in the Championship with Sheffield United last season, and he could be just what the doctor ordered at Fulham.
A brilliant ball carrier and a hard worker, Ndiaye is a top young talent who could well be headed to the very top.
Fulham fans ought to know just how good this young man is. He once scored an absolute worldie of a goal at Craven Cottage.
During the 2021/22 promotion campaign, Sheffield United earned a 1-0 victory at the Cottage and Ndiaye’s goal was the difference, a solo run from his own half finished with a curling effort with his left foot from outside of the box, even the home fans had to stand up and applaud that one.
As you may well imagine, Sheffield United won’t be keen to sell their prized asset after promotion, but as Ndiaye heads into the final year of his contract and the Blades’ ownership status remains up in the air, the Yorkshire club may ultimately have no choice.
Ndiaye won’t be short of suitors, but given Fulham’s status as a top-half Premier League team last season and the fact there’s a space right there for him in the team, we can only hope that the idea of a move to Craven Cottage would appeal to Ndiaye.
Make no mistake about it, this would be a brilliant way for Fulham to kick off the summer transfer window.
