SAKA, ANTONY AND 10 PREMIER LEAGUE STARS HEADING TO THEIR FIRST WORLD CUP
According to The Telegraph, Scott Parker is finally set to leave Fulham this week.
There has been very little said about Parker’s future since Fulham’s relegation from the Premier League was confirmed last month, and it seems as though he murmurs of issues ongoing behind the scenes are true.
Bournemouth have had a long-standing interest in Parker, and it now seems as though they may finally get their man.
Of course, losing your manager to a rival is never ideal, but Parker leaving Craven Cottage may not be the worst thing in the world for Fulham.
Indeed, if we’re being honest, Parker is lucky that he wasn’t relieved of his duties at an earlier date. He’s picked up just two points from a possible 30 in Fulham’s last 10 league games, and while he did get the Whites promoted in 2020, Fulham were far from convincing that year.
So, who will replace Parker if he goes? Well, at the moment we’ve had no indication about the managers the Whites are looking at as potential replacements, but in our view, Chris Wilder is the only man for the job, but that’s a story for another day.
Parker leaves behind an interesting legacy at Fulham, but his departure is yet another damning indictment of the Khan’s ownership and the current issues behind the scenes.
