SAKA, ANTONY AND 10 PREMIER LEAGUE STARS HEADING TO THEIR FIRST WORLD CUP
Let’s face it, Fulham are down.
Newcastle’s emphatic win over Leicester on Friday night was the final nail in a coffin that has long-been built, and while it’s not mathematically confirmed, it’s fair to say that it’s only a matter of time.
Fulham need to start thinking about next season, and in our view, the preparation needs to start right now, so that means that changes need to be made to the starting XI.
We’ve put together an XI of players who could play a part next season that Scott Parker should look to bed in against Burnley.
We’ve tried to limit the number of loanees in this side, but due to Marek Rodak’s injury, Alphonse Areola remains between the sticks.
A back four of Kenny Tete, Michael Hector, Tosin and Antonee Robinson could feasibly be Fulham’s first-choice midfield next term, while we think that Harrison Reed and Mario Lemina should start in the middle of the park, even though it’s unlikely either player will be at the club next term.
A front four of Ivan Cavaleiro, Bobby Decordova-Reid, Josh Onomah and Aleksandar Mitrovic represents an attacking quartet that could stay together and play a part next season.
