SAKA, ANTONY AND 10 PREMIER LEAGUE STARS HEADING TO THEIR FIRST WORLD CUP
According to the Sheffield Star, Fulham, are set to rival West Brom and QPR for the signature of Sheffield Wednesday attacker Josh Windass
The attacker has been one of Wednesday’s bright sparks this season, and as the Owls look set to drop into League One, there may be a bargain to be had here.
West Brom and Fulham look destined to be relegated from the Premier League, so they will be looking to reshape their squad for life back in the second division, while QPR will be hoping to improve on what has been a poor campaign.
Wednesday may need to raise funds after their seemingly impending relegation to League One, and Fulham know all about grabbing bargains from relegated Championship clubs.
Indeed, the Whites landed Antonee Robinson in similar circumstances last year, and it seems as though they could repeat the trick with Windass.
It will certainly be interesting to see what Fulham do this summer in terms of transfers, they have an inflated wage bill, and while parachute payments will soften the blow of relegation, they will still need to cut costs.
This situation is certainly one to keep an eye on in the coming months.
