According to the Daily Mail, Tottenham could look towards Scott Parker as a potential Jose Mourinho replacement.

Parker has earned plaudits for how he’s handled Fulham upon their return to the Premier League, and while the Whites look likely to be relegated, Parker has come out of this season with a lot of plaudits.

The gaffer’s stock is very high right now, and that’s seen him linked with a return to his former club.

Daniel Levy of course knows what Parker is all about. The former England international served Spurs as both a player and a coach before becoming Fulham boss.

It will certainly be interesting to see if Spurs do move for Parker.

With the European Super League announcement earlier this week, it would be a massive gamble for Spurs to take a punt on a manager with two relegations on his CV in three years of management, but Tottenham obviously see something in the Fulham boss.

Parker signed a new three-year deal with the Whites in the summer, so the club will be due a bit of compensation if Spurs swoop, but losing the manager who got them out of the Championship last year will be something of a blow.

This is a situation to keep a keen eye on in the coming months.
