Fulham can escape the bottom three on Friday evening, but in order to do so they need to beat Leeds United.

The Whites may be catching Leeds at quite a good time. They’ve not been in great form lately, their captain is out of action, while Patrick Bamford has been nursing a knock.

Add into that the fact that Leeds haven’t won a game in London since December 2017, and you have to say that this looks like a very winnable game.

Of course, in order to achieve a victory here, Scott Parker needs to choose the correct 11 players to do the job, and with that in mind, we’ve had a go at predicting the Whites’ starting XI for this one.

We think that Fulham will opt to make just two changes for this one.

The first change comes at left-back, we think that Antonee Robinson may be better equipped to deal with Leeds’ dangerman Raphinha down that flank, while the spaces left behind by the marauding Luke Ayling could easily be exploited by the USA international’s pace.

Fulham lined up rather differently to usual in their last game, opting for a midfield three, and we think the Whites may go for the same again as they try to nullify Kalvin Phillips’ impact on the game in the middle of the park for Leeds.

We think that Josh Maja will come in for Ruben Loftus-Cheek as a true number nine is what’s needed against a Leeds side that often leave plenty of space in behind, and when chances in the box arrive, Maja is the man Fulham can count on to finish them.
