SAKA, ANTONY AND 10 PREMIER LEAGUE STARS HEADING TO THEIR FIRST WORLD CUP
Speaking on the Official Leeds United Podcast, Jermaine Beckford has highlighted Ademola Lookman as one Fulham player he’s worried about ahead of Friday’s clash.
The Whites face off against Leeds at Craven Cottage on Friday, and it’s fair to say they will field a slightly different Xi than the one that started at Elland Road earlier this season.
Indeed, the team that started against Leeds back in September is almost unrecognisable from the team we’ve grown accustomed to seeing in recent weeks, and one man who is likely to start against Leeds this time around is Lookman.
“Look at Ademola Lookman as well, playing on the wing, he’s definitely one of their dangermen, like their main dangerman. When the ball goes to him he’s so quick and he’s so sharp,” Beckford said.
“He’s talented and he wants to go past his players and I saw that when he was at Everton when he was younger as well, and you could see that he had something about him.
“I’m not going to call it arrogance, it was more of a self-confidence, he was very confident in himself and his abilities. He was quiet, but yoy could tell that he had a bit about him, and you’re seeing that now, so we need to close him down as quickly as we can.”
If Fulham are going to beat Leeds on Friday, Lookman may once again be the key to that.
Luke Ayling loves to push forward, and in doing that, he’ll leave a lot of space for Lookman to exploit with his pace and dribbling ability.
The RB Leipzig loanee has re-established himself in the Premier League with Fulham this season, and even if he isn’t successful in his quest to keep the Whites up, he can hold his head high with what he has achieved on a personal level this season.
