Speaking on his podcast, Glenn Hoddle has given his verdict on Fulham, particularly their performance against Manchester City.

The ex-England manager has labelled the Whites as a good football team, sharing how impressed he was with their lack of fear against a side that appear to be champions elect.

“Looking at it, there’s some good football teams down there. Brighton and Fulham are very good football teams, they play with no fear, you know. Fulham in the first-half were very good against Manchester City,” Hoddle said.

“They played very well defensively, they broke out in that first 10-15 minutes and looked dangerous. They self-imploded in the second half, gave two goals away and were poor for the first goal. They can brush that under the carpet Fulham, if they perform how they did in the first-half, they’re making it interesting Fulham.”

It’s great to see that the wider footballing world is finally waking up to how good Fulham have been in recent weeks.

It’s incredible to see that Fulham have been praised after losing 3-0 to Man City, but during that first-half they showed why they’ve given themselves a chance of staying up this season.

Indeed, they were hard to break down and looked dangerous on the counter, and that’s going to be the Whites’ key to success if they are to stay up this term.
