Fulham may be coming off of the back of a win against Liverpool, but they’ll need to perform an even bigger giant-killing if they’re going to win this weekend.

Indeed, the Whites play against Pep Guardiola’s irresistible Manchester City side at Craven Cottage on Saturday evening, and this is going to be arguably the toughest task the Whites will face between now and the end of the season.

Barring their recent loss to Manchester United, City have won every single game they’ve in 2021, so you can see why this is something of a daunting task for Fulham.

However, as last week’s result showed, anything is possible in football, but if Scott Parker I to mastermind a win here, he needs to get his team selection spot on.

With that in mind, we’ve tried to predict Fulham’s starting XI for this clash.

Fulham’s predicted Xi vs Man City

We think that Parker will opt for 2 changes from the team that started against Liverpool.

Antonee Robinson comes in for Kenny Tete, and Ruben Loftus-Cheek comes in for Bobby Decordova-Reid.

It’s hard to justify changing a team that turned Liverpool over, but Loftus-Cheek and Robinson did play their parts in that victory, and they may be well-suited to this clash.

In this game more than ever, Fulham will be asked to soak up pressure and hit their opposition on the counter, and the pace of Robinson and the driblling ability of Loftus-Cheek may be what’s needed here.

Away from that, it’s a very similar team to the one we saw against Liverpool. Ola Aina switches sides, while Mario Lemina retains his spot in the middle of the park after striking the winning goal at Anfield.
