‘Where do you see yourself in five years’ time?’ is always one of the worst questions to field in an interview, but Fulham’s Tosin Adarabioyo had a clear view of where he wants to be in half a decade.

The centre-back has been a revelation at Fulham in his debut Premier League season, and he already seemingly has ambitions of reaching an even higher level.

Indeed, the centre-half was asked during his interview with The Telegraph where he sees himself five years down the road, and he’s said that he thinks he’ll be at a top club.

“At a top club. Could be in England or Europe and hopefully winning as many trophies as possible. But that’s not for now. I am just focusing on survival, on avoiding relegation and we have full confidence that we will remain in this league. We have so much quality and so much fight to push on and get the results that we need. I think we are going to go on a mad run and stay safe,” Adarabioyo said.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem as though Adarabioyo plans on staying at Fulham for the rest of his career, but we can’t blame him.

He signed for a bargain fee of £2m, and he already looks like he’s worth a lot more than that, and he’s been linked to the likes of Juventus in recent months.

Of course, in an ideal world he’d stay at Fulham for the next decade and shore up our defence for years to come, but this is a player who wants to play for a big club and is probably good enough to.

Right now, he’s focused on staying in the Premier League with the Whites and that’s exactly what we want to hear from a player at this juncture of the season.
