SAKA, ANTONY AND 10 PREMIER LEAGUE STARS HEADING TO THEIR FIRST WORLD CUP
The transfer window has come and gone, and Fulham’s squad now looks a lot different to how it did a month ago.
The Whites have shipped out a number of first-teamers such as Aboubakar Kamara and Neeskens Kebano, and they brought in Josh Maja as an attacking reinforcement.
However, focus now has to shift back to on the pitch matters, and Fulham have a tough task ahead as they host Leicester City on Wednesday evening.
No Fulham supporter needs reminding what happened the last time these two sides met, with the Whites picking up a shock win at the King Power back in November.
If the Cottagers are to repeat that trick, Scott Parker will have to get his team selection spot on, and with that in mind, we’ve had a go at predicting their starting XI for this one.
We think that Parker will opt to make three changes here.
Fulham showed exactly how to beat Leicester earlier this season, and their key to victory was a quick counter-attacking style, and that means that there may not be any room for Aleksandar Mitrovic in this side.
Instead, we expect a man who scored on Saturday to step in as a number nine, with Bobby Decordova-Reid taking up the striker berth, while Ivan Cavaleiro gets back into the starting XI after finding the next against West Brom, replacing Ruben Loftus-Cheek.
Aside from that, it’s largely the same team as we’ve come accustomed to seeing in recent weeks, with the only other change being Harrison Reed coming in for Mario Lemina as Fulham may be more on the back foot he
After Brighton beat Tottenham over the weekend, Fulham will be desperate to pick up more points, and a chance to do the double over Leicester represents a great opportunity to do just that.
