Parker makes 2 changes: Mitrovic starts: Fulham’s predicted XI vs West Brom

This week was billed as make or break for Fulham, and while a draw against Brighton on Wednesday wasn’t the most ideal result in the world, they have a great chance to pick up a win against West Brom.

This game is as close to a must-win gets in the Premier League, and after going almost two months without a league victory, Scott Parker’s men need to step up here.

Of course, if Parker is going to mastermind a win against the Baggies, he needs to get his team selection spot on, and with that in mind, we’ve had a go at predicting Fulham’s starting XI for this one.

Fulham’s predicted Xi vs West Brom

We think Scott Parker will make two changes for this fixture.

Fulham have sat back and tried to counter-attack quite often in recent weeks, but if ever there was a team to take the game to, it’s West Brom.

We expect Fulham to field a much more attacking lineup than we’ve seen lately, and that means Aleksandar Mitrovic returns to the starting XI.

Unfortunately, there’s no spot for either Ruben Loftus-Cheek or Ivan Cavaleiro here, but with Antonee Robinson back from his suspension, Fulham will really benefit from having his pace back down the left.

That of course means another position change for Bobby Decordova-Reid, who we expect to start down the right for this one.

The reverse fixture saw what was arguably Mario Lemina’s best performance so far in a Fulham shirt, but with Harrison Reed playing so well recently, it’s hard to envisage him being dropped for this one.

This is a game that could go a long way towards deciding Fulham’s fate this season, and they need to be at their best at The Hawthorns this weekend.
