SAKA, ANTONY AND 10 PREMIER LEAGUE STARS HEADING TO THEIR FIRST WORLD CUP
Fulham are finally back in Premier League action on Wednesday night after a long layoff.
Indeed, nobody needs reminding that Fulham haven’t played since Boxing Day after an outbreak of coronavirus at Motspur Park, and the Whites had to postpone their two games against Tottenham and Burnley.
Much to Scott Parker’s disapproval, Fulham’s game against Tottenham has been re-arranged for Wednesday night, and while the Whites may not be happy about having to play this game, there’s not much they can do about it.
However, there’s no use in sitting around moaning about it. There is a game of football to win here and with that in mind, we’ve had a go at predicting how the Whites will line-up for this one.
We expect Fulham to make a number of changes from their FA Cup clash against QPR.
In fact, We expect Fulham to make eight changes here, with only Kenny Tete, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Ola Aina retaining their spots.
We don’t expect the Cottagers to have too much of the ball against Tottenham, so we imagine that Scott Parker will go for his more counter-attacking system that employs a five-at-the-back system.
The backline is very similar to what we have grown accustomed to seeing this season. However, there is one big change as Kenny Tete comes in at right-wing-back, while Bobby Decordova-Reid moves into the number nine sport, consigning Ivan Cavaleiro to a spot on the bench.
This will be a tough task for Fulham as they face off against a very impressive Spurs side, but after taking points off of Liverpool and Leicester in recent weeks, Parker has every reason to feel quietly confident ahead of this game.
